October 28, 2016 Homecoming Wine & Cheese Alumni, graduates, faculty & staff are invited to the School for a Wine & Cheese reception on the Friday of McGill's Homecoming weekend. In 2016 we will be especially celebrating reunion years ending in "6" and "1"!

November 24, 2016 Edith Aston-McCrimmon Lectureship An inspirational lecture by a nationally or internationally known person, usually having a topic related to the field of rehabilitation. April 8, 2016 - afternoon Name-Tag Ceremony Students finishing their undergrad or qualifying year receive McGill SPOT name-tags that identify them as McGill OT or PT students, with which to begin their clinical placements. This year's theme is Global Health
 
May 4 & 5 2016 1st National Knowledge Translation and Rehabilitation Conference

Knowing Sharing, Doing: McGill's School of Physical & Occupational Therapy is proudly hosting the 1st National Knowledge Translation Conference in Rehabilitation, in Montreal, Canada. This conference is relevant for researchers, professional and graduate students, health care professionals, clinical managers/administrators, and decision-makers interested in knowledge translation (KT). Health Sciences Convocation 

Spring Health Sciences Convocation Ceremony on lower campus starts at 10:00 a.m. and concludes at approximately 12 noon. A reception follow for all grads and their families, on Lower Campus.

Strawberries & Champagne Reception

SPOT's Convocation and Awards Reception, at which the winners of the Convocation Awards are given their certificates, will be held immediately following the Health Sciences Convocation Ceremony, at a location on Lower Campus.

June 8, 2016 Spring Clinical Day Annual full-day event with a morning educational component related to clinical education or clinical practice followed by recognition awards to clinical educators/supervisors. The afternoon component consists of discussion on curriculum and its clinical education components. To be hosted at Thomson House, McTavish St, Montreal.
August 24, 2016 Masters' Research Projects Presentations Project presentations from the groups of M2 students, prior to the start of their last student pacement during their final autumn at SPOT.
