October 17, 2014 Homecoming Wine & Cheese Alumni, graduates, faculty and staff are invited to the School for a Wine & Cheese reception on the Friday of McGill's Homecoming weekend. In 2014 we will be especially celebrating reunion years ending in "4" and "9"!
October 26, 2014 McGill Open House McGill's annual Open House; SPOT faculty and students staff a very busy kiosk welcoming potential applicants: what's the BEST thing about being an OT or a PT and why McGill is the TOP choice!
November 27, 2014 Edith Aston-McCrimmon Lectureship An inspirational lecture by a nationally or internationally known person, usually having a topic related to the field of rehabilitation. Join Alumni, faculty and friends for this event at McGill's Faculty Club.
April 4, 2014 Name-Tag Ceremony Students finishing their undergrad or qualifying year receive McGill SPOT name-tags that identify them as McGill rehab students, with which to begin their clinical placements
May 2, 2014 Rehabilitation Research Colloquium Every second year, McGill hosts the best and the brightest for a day of presentations on recent advances in research on rehabilitation
May 29, 2014 Strawberries & Champagne SPOT's Convocation Reception, at which the winners of the Convocation Awards are given their certificates; all grads of the MSc(A) and thesis MSc and PhD are celebrated
June 4, 2014 Spring Clinical Day Annual full-day event with a morning educational component related to clinical education or clinical practice followed by recognition awards to clinical educators/supervisors. The afternoon component consists of discussion on the overall curriculum and clinical education components of the curriculum.
August 25, 2014 Masters' Research Projects Presentations Project presentations from the groups of M2 students, prior to the start of their final autumn at SPOT
