24h de Science Walk & Talk: How will the emerald ash borer affect the future of Mount Royal forests?

Join Les amis de la montagne for a talk and a walking tour during which we will discuss the City of Montréal's strategy to fight the emerald ash borer on the mountain. Learn more about this insect that has ravaged thousands of ash trees on Mount Royal and see the work undertaken by the City in the park.

As part of wider efforts to activate the standards presented in the Canadian Museums Association Report Moved to Action: Activating UNDRIP in Canadian Museums (2022), the Redpath is working towards pro-active restitution practices. As per our Collections Management Policy (2024), repatriation requests will be received by the Redpath Museum Director and will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

 

Accessibility

Please note that the Redpath Museum is not accessible to individuals using wheelchairs. There are no access ramps or elevators, and access to the upper floors is only possible via a central staircase. The exterior entrance, interior spaces, exhibition rooms, and restrooms are not adapted to meet universal accessibility standards. Additionally, the building is not air-conditioned.
