Fellowship Program

A Message from Dr. Melanie Theriault, Program Director, Fellowship Program

Welcome to the McGill University Diagnostic Radiology fellowship program.

The McGill Radiology department is proud to offer competitive and dynamic fellowship programs, with an excellent international reputation.

Everyday our fellows are exposed to a large workload and a wide variety of cases, preparing them for their future careers as leaders in their fields. We have state of the art equipment, allowing production of high quality examinations, leading to precise diagnosis. Our expert radiologists in all the subspecialties are well trained in diagnostic and interventional radiology. They are dedicated teachers and regularly organize well-prepared teaching sessions in addition to the teaching provided during the daily reviews.

The fellows are also given the opportunity to develop teaching skills, by teaching and interacting with the residents and medical students in our institution. You will find more information about our residency program here.

Our fellowships offer excellent opportunities for research for beginners or experienced candidates. Protected time is given to candidates working on research projects and they are encouraged to participate and present at international meetings and conferences.

Fellows will also have the opportunity to develop consultation skills by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and participate to tumor boards.

Finally as you will discover, Montréal is a great, safe, multicultural and dynamic city.

For more information on our different programs, please don’t hesitate to contact us radiology.residency [at] muhc.mcgill.ca (here).

If you are interested to learn, passionate by radiology and ready for a new challenge, we are looking forward to welcome you in our department.
