Anne-Marie Turcotte-Tremblay, M. Sc.

Anne-Marie Turcotte-Tremblay is a research coordinator at the Douglas Institute Research Centre. She is presently working with Dr. Suzanne King and Dr. David Laplante on the Iowa Flood Study and the QF2011 Study.

Anne-Marie Turcotte-Tremblay obtained her master’s degree in Community Health at University of Montreal. While pursuing this degree, she conducted a qualitative study at the CHUM Research Center on the constraints that lower enrolment in community-based health insurances in Benin and the strategies that can be adopted to overcome these constraints. Furthermore, she completed a B.A. in Psychology at McGill University. During this degree, she conducted a study to assess the needs and satisfaction level of the Native Friendship Center of Montreal’s clients. She also worked as a research assistant in the department of psychology at McGill University. Anne-Marie’s main areas of interest include social and environmental determinants of health, social health inequalities and women’s reproductive health.
