Postgraduate medical trainees are able to complete the following elective rotations:
- At a site accredited for a given program to McGill University – these rotations are arranged at the program level without applying through the PGME Office.
- At a site accredited for a given program to another Quebec University – these are called Quebec Inter-University Electives and trainees apply through CREPUQ/BCI .
- At a site in Quebec not accredited for a given program to any Quebec University OR at a site that is outside of Quebec/Canada – these electives are called Non-Accredited Electives and a non-accredited site elective request form needs to be filled and sent to the PGME Residency Coordinator.
