Dr. Shaheen-Hussain publishes book "Fighting for a Hand to Hold: Confronting Medical Colonialism Against Indigenous Children in Canada"

Dr. Samir Shaheen-Hussain, Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics' Division of Emergency Medicine, publishes book, "Fighting for a Hand to Hold: Confronting Medical Colonialism against Indigenous Children in Canada", that is an exploration of anti-Indigenous systemic racism in Canadian health care and the medical establishment's role in colonial genocide.
