Dr. Janusz Rak Awarded CFI Innovation Fund Grant

Dr. Janusz Rak, Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, has been awarded a grant through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) Innovation Fund (IF) competition as principal investigator for the research project titled, "Centre for Applied Nanomedicine (CAN) – Studies into Extracellular Vesicle Heterogeneity, Biomarkers and Function", along with PI, Dr. Peter Metrakos, Department of Surgery, and Co-PIs from the Department of Pediatrics including Drs. Kolja Eppert, Assistant Professor, and Nada Jabado, Professor.

The total project budget awarded is $3,413,071 over 5 years.
