Biography:
Dr. Adam J. Shapiro is a clinician and researcher in chronic infectious lung disease, including the rare condition of Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. Dr. Shapiro came to Montreal and the Department of Pediatrics to establish a Canadian hub for his ongoing research and to expand his diagnostic network in Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia across Quebec, for patients who lack a medical home for this rare lung disorder.
