Rosetta Antonacci organized a collaborative exchange between two Schools at McGill, by way of a breastfeeding training workshop for senior Dietetics-stage students from the School of Human Nutrition at McGill University, Macdonald campus. On August 29, students visited the new offices of the Ingram School of Nursing (ISoN) for the first time, to learn about breastfeeding benefits, physiology and anatomy of lactation, and evidence-based breastfeeding support interventions. ISoN Associate Professor, PhD Program Director and Acting Director of Research Sonia Semenic and NICU nurse consultant Claudia Cinquino provided the workshop, supported by Irene Sarasua, along with ISoN learning lab team members.

This past winter, our partners from the School of Human Nutrition, Macdonald Campus came to the ISoN health and physical assessment class to teach graduate and undergraduate nursing students about nutrition. In May 2018, Rosetta Antonacci went to the MacDonald campus and held a workshop for the dietetic students on role of nurses in the clinical settings. Mary Hendrickson and Sandy Phillips from MacDonald Campus partnered with Rosetta Antonacci and Abbey Mahon to work on this new initiative and have paved the way for a strong collaboration between the two Schools.
