Presentation Guidelines

Poster Presentation:

Format: Printed poster

Size: Posters must be no larger than A0 in size (841mm x 1189mm)

Orientation: Portrait

Guidelines for Poster Presenters:

  • Prepare your poster in accordance with the specified size and orientation.
  • Ensure that all content is clearly visible and readable from a reasonable distance.
  • Bring your printed poster to the designated presentation area at the conference venue.

Oral Presentation:

Duration: 15 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions

Guidelines for Oral Presenters:

  • Prepare a 15-minute presentation that covers the key points of your research or topic.

 

General Guidelines:

  • All presenters are expected to adhere to the specified guidelines for their respective presentation formats.
  • Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in limitations on presentation time or other adjustments as deemed necessary by the organizing committee.

 

Topics

For session planning purposes, please choose one-two of the following topics for your abstract:

  • Radiochemistry
  • Instrumentation
  • Quantification methodologies
  • Preclinical molecular imaging
  • Translation novel pathways
  • Clinical: Dementia and Neurological Disorders
  • Clinical: Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders

 

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts can only be submitted online via the system provided. 
Abstracts must include title, authors, affiliations and abstract body and may include a table and/or figure.
You will be asked to submit the abstract in the textbox  AND  as a word document (Arial 10pt., justified, single line spacing). The textbox will ensure that you are within the word count limit, and the word document will enable typesetting your abstract for the program book.

Abstract Titles
Titles are limited to 255 characters including spaces.  Do not include abbreviations.

Author Information 
Authors must include first name and last name.  The submitting author should be the presenting author, please declare if this is not the case.    
Affiliations should include primary associated organisation, city and country.  If you have multiple affiliations, they may be included in the word document.

Abstract Body 
Structure: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Your abstract must be a maximum of 2,500 characters including spacing  (not including your title and author information or any text within tables or images).  Abstracts that exceed the character count will be returned.   
Note: the textbox will  NOT  maintain special characters or formatting. 

Tables and Figures 
You can include up to 2 tables and/or figures (e.g., 2 tables, 2 figures or 1 table and 1 figure). Do not exceed this limit or the abstract will be returned.
Tables and Figures do NOT count toward the 2500-character count. 

 Abstracts must not contain copyrighted material unless the author has obtained permission. 

Abbreviations: Abbreviations (of compounds, for example) must be spelled out in full at the first use. Do not use abbreviations in the title and use only standard abbreviations.

Trade names: Please capitalize the first letter of all trade names

Language: English

Submissions not meeting the above specifications will not be accepted and returned to the submitter. 

Disclosures  
All presenting authors must submit any relevant financial relationships. Disclosures are  not  required for co-authors. 

Registration and personal expenses 
A condition of acceptance is that the nominated presenter registers for the conference.  Presenters are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and registration expenses.  Presenting students may apply to travel awards.

 The  deadline  for receipt of abstracts is  22 January, 2024.  All submitting authors will receive confirmation of their abstract submission via email, modifications will be allowed until submission deadline. 
Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on scientific merit that are within the scope of the conference. Notification of acceptance for presentations will be acknowledged by email in February 2024.
