Sacred Forest Walks

forest walkJoin MORSL for a guided walk through trails on Mont Royal exploring nature, reflection, and what 'sacred' can mean across cultures and perspectives. Through quiet observation, simple practices, and conversation, we'll explore our connection to place, presence, and the natural world. We'll chat about sacred mountains and forests and the experience of sacredness, enjoy a few minutes of a silent forest walk, a "meet a tree" exercise, and a visualizing roots meditation. These workshops are held when the weather is friendly to walking on the mountain. Please visit the Student Services events calendar to check for upcoming sessions and to register.

Spiritual Self Care

You’ve heard about physical and mental health self-care, but how about the spiritual side of things? Spiritual self-care focuses on the relationship between your mind, body, spirit, and emotions and on engaging in practices that connect you to something(s) that is beyond your individual human self – like nature, the collective good, deep time, the divine, or a higher power.

Curious?

Join MORSL for a one-hour introduction to spiritual self-care through energy work and diverse embodied practices (such as tapping, breathwork, moving meditation, chanting, and journaling) that can help you ground, grow, and build your toolbox for spiritual well-being. This workshop doesn't involve evocations of specific religious practices, nor does it require any previous knowledge! Beginner friendly, all welcome.

This workshop runs during the school year. Please visit the Student Services events calendar to check for upcoming sessions and register! (Anticipated to return in Winter 2027 due to staff availability).
