In this talk you will learn more about McGill Engine's programs, funding opportunities, and resources. The McGill Engine Centre focuses on encouraging and supporting technological innovators and entrepreneurs across McGill University in collaboration with the Office of Innovation and Partnerships, the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship, and the Clinical Innovation Platform (CLIP).
KATYA MARC, M.Sc., MBA is the Associate Director of the McGill Engine Center. She works closely with faculty members and students in advancing their technologically-based ideas and research, in the promotion of technologies and expertise of the Faculty to potential partners, and facilitates interaction between the various stakeholders in the projects to achieve successful collaborations and transfer of outstanding research from the labs to the marketplace. She co-founded the McGill Engine and its programs. She has been working at McGill for over 25 years, across multiple faculties but servicing mainly the Faculty of Engineering for their research/service contract and intellectual property commercialization needs, and for helping build the entrepreneurial mindset and skills of its members.
