MIAM Characterization Seminar: Advances in Ceramic Manufacturing

DR. HAMIDREZA YAZDANI is a Research Officer at the Aerospace Manufacturing Technology Center (AMTC) of the National Research Council Canada (NRC), where he specializes in Novel Materials and Coatings. With over 16 years of experience in research and academic publishing, he also serves as a Scientific Managing Editor at Elsevier. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University and is certified in numerous computer-aided design and analysis tools. Dr. Yazdani's core expertise lies in the design, advanced manufacturing, and testing of smart aerospace structures, including ceramic matrix composites, 3D-printed ceramics, and bi-material systems. A prolific author with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, he has also secured numerous research grants and received multiple awards for his contributions to the field.
