Title: Rational points on modular abelian surfaces and special values of p-adic L-functions
 
Abstract: In this talk I will present  work in progress with M. Bertolini, M. Seveso and R. Venerucci relating rational points on modular abelian surfaces, of $GL_2$ type  over $Q$, and special values of suitable $p$-adic $L$-functions. Most of the talk will be devoted to the definition of the latter.
