Establishing the Ludmer Centre as a global centre for excellence and an incubator for neuroinformatics, biostatistics, brain imaging, epigenetics and single-cell research.
Bringing together world-renowned leaders, technology, and the infrastructure to cultivate interdisciplinary collaborations, and to exponentially accelerate our understanding and treatment of brain disorders and mental health.
Collaboration
Our vision is to advance neuroscience research through partnership and innovation, uniting the resources across our three partner research hospitals and their collaborators worldwide. Through seamless sharing of knowledge and resources, we aim to create a ripple effect throughout the scientific community, ensuring that breakthroughs benefit patients around the globe.
Open Science
The Ludmer Centre is a strong proponent of Open Science; actively investing in building and developing platforms and infrastructure to share data, information, tools and research results, as well as eliminating barriers to collaboration, and, ultimately accelerating progress towards finding treatments and diagnostic tools to improve outcomes. Our neuroinformatics experts have built the foundation, the infrastructure and international community to facilitate open source access in neuroscience and bioinformatics.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity
The Ludmer Centre is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued, and where we can learn from each other to drive meaningful progress in the field of mental health research. Not only do we recognize the wealth of knowledge that we can each bring to the table, but we recognize that this diversity of thoughts and lived experiences is what is needed to uncover the mysteries of the brain.
Innovation
At its core, the Ludmer Centre strives to apply novel and creative scientific approaches to advance diagnosis and treatment of mental and neurological diseases. This is what drives us: to take risks, to dream big and to be pioneers.
