This workshop will provide an introduction to the fundamentals of causal inference, and emphasize the limitations of some common statistical techniques for uncovering causal relationships.
The outcomes of this workshop include knowledge of
> Experimental and observational studies
> Objectives of statistical analyses
> Structural assumptions
> Graphical representations
> Counterfactual notation
Pre-requisites: Basic knowledge of statistical concepts and terms (eg regression modelling, bias).
