MIF Evolution
The MIF Evolution reunites MIF cohorts for an evening of fresh pitches and renewed connections, as we celebrate five years of the McGill Innovation Fund. All past and current teams, and even former applicants are invited to apply — selected teams will then have the chance to pitch to a panel of judges and compete for exciting prizes! This event is made possible thanks to support from Desjardins Caisse des technologies who have generously provided cash prizes for the competition. Format
Each pitch will be a maximum of three minutes, with additional time for a brief Q&A with the judges. We strongly advise teams to practice this short form of pitching. Pitches will be evaluated for the quality of their presentation, and the potential impact of the technology/project.
Prizes (UPDATED)
1st Place: $1,000 cash + Consulting package with R&D Partners (includes five hours of personalized support)
2nd Place: $1,000 cash + Consultation and service follow up with La Foundry
3rd Place: $1,000 cash
4th Place: $500 cash
5th Place: $500 Audience Choice Award (This award will go to the most popular non-winner)
