Opening Ceremony - Open to all

We Will Walk Together (Skátne Entewathahíta) is an annual event presented by McGill’s Office of Indigenous Initiatives and the Faculty of Education that focuses on the meaning of National Day for Truth and Reconcilaition. Join us at Tsi Non:we Onkwatonhnhets (Near Redpath)/Y-Intersection for an opening ceremony of the event. 

Land-Based Activity with Brooke Rice - Registration Required

11:30-1:00

After the opening ceremony, join Brooke Rice outside on the Burnside Field for a land-based activity. Details of the activity will be communicated on the day of. This portion of the event requires registration as there is limited space in the workshop. This is an amazing opportunity to learn a new skill, and to connect and share with one another.

Medicine Walk with Robbie Madsen - Open to all 

11:30-1:00

Following the opening ceremony, join Robbie Madsen for a medicine walk around campus. This portion of the day is open to everyone, we encouarge you to join this activity and learn more about McGill campus in light of Indigenous medicine and knowledges. Meeting place will be at Tsi Non:we Onkwatonhnhets (Near Redpath)/Y-Intersection.
