Dr. Knäuper accepts 1-2 graduate students each year. Dr. Knäuper supervises PhD students in both the Clinical Psychology and the Experimental Psychology Program. We welcome particularly students who are eligible and plan to apply for federal and/or provincial graduate funding (e.g. CIHR, SSHRC, FRSQ, FQRSC). Application deadlines for these fellowships are in the fall and information about these fellowships can be found on the agencies' websites.
If you are interested in applying to join Dr. Knäuper's lab as a graduate student, please email Dr. Knäuper in advance of the relevant deadlines.
McGill work-study eligible students are especially encouraged to apply. If you are interested, please email a CV, unofficial transcript, your availability, and a short note describing why you would like to do research in a health psychology lab to Dr. Knäuper.
Please contact Dr. Knäuper if you are interested in joining her lab as a postdoctoral fellow. Postdoctoral fellows usually secure their own external funding. However, we can support your application for external funding by working with you to create a successful proposal. McGill also offers postdoctoral fellowships (Tomlinson Postdoctoral Fellowships).
If you are interested in joining our lab as an undergraduate student (e.g., honours, PSYC 450, volunteer, etc.), please send an email to Dr. Knäuper with your CV, unofficial transcript, a sample of your writing (e.g., a paper your wrote for a course requirement), and state in a couple of sentences why you would like to do research in a health psychology lab.
