CLASSES CANCELLED for Provincial Elections

Please be advised that classes, laboratories, and examinations are cancelled on Monday, October 5, 2026 in all Faculties, including the School of Continuing Studies. The exceptions are

• students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery (MDCM) program. Classes and other learning activities are not cancelled. For students in Years 1 and 2, they will finish by 4pm. Students in Years 3 and 4 will be given 4 hours to vote, either when the polls open or at the end of the polling period, depending on their clinical rotations.
• students enrolled in the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program. Classes and other learning activities are not cancelled and will finish by 4pm. Students engaged in clinical rotations must consult their supervisors and follow the specific requirements of the institution in which they work.
• students enrolled in the School of Physical & Occupational Therapy. Classes and other learning activities for U3, QY, and M1 students are not cancelled and will finish by 4pm. M2 students must follow the procedures established by their clinical affiliation sites.

Students in other programs who are engaged in internships or clinical rotations should consult their supervisors and follow the specific requirements of the institution in which they work.
