Research Domains
Scientists and Investigators at St. Mary’s Research Centre are organised into four domains of expertise. These research domains serve as dynamic hubs that bridge the gap between research and clinical realities. Embedded within the clinical context, domain scientists are well-positioned to respond to the ever-evolving needs of patients and clinicians. This close proximity to the front lines of healthcare fosters true patient-centred research, emphasising the importance of addressing real-world challenges. Moreover, this clinical embeddedness streamlines the knowledge translation process downstream, enabling research evidence to seamlessly integrate into routine clinical practices, thus bringing valuable insights and innovations directly to the bedside.
