Fall 2026 Schedule

  • Move-in day (Macdonald campus): Saturday, August 22 
  • Move-in weekend (downtown campus): Saturday, August 22 & Sunday, August 23 
  • Faculty/School Orientations: Monday, August 24 & Tuesday, August 25 
  • Discover McGill Services Fair (downtown campus): Tuesday, August 25 
  • Frosh: Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30 
  • Welcome Day (classes start): Monday, August 31 

Registration for Orientation & Frosh events will open in the summer. New students will receive an email inviting them to register!

Discover McGill Services Fair

August 25, 2026  

The Discover McGill Services Fair is your chance to learn about McGill's services, resources, organizations, teams, and faculty student associations all in one place. We'll also have a sampling of services from Students Society of McGill University (SSMU) This will allow you to gear up for Activities Night in mid-September, where SSMU offers a showcase of their 250 students clubs. 

Macdonald Campus students can sign up for free transportation to this downtown event!

Frosh

Frosh is a series of fun, multi-day events run by student organizations to help you make connections on campus. Faculty Froshes are exclusive to students who have been accepted into a given Faculty. Follow your Faculty Frosh's Instagram for information and updates.
