If you are interested in theoretical biophysics, gene network modeling, physical aspects of embryonic development and evolution and/or development of computational tools for biologists, you found the right place.
Post-doc
Our group is currently looking for one postdoctoral scientist. We focus on the development of theoretical methods for the study of many dynamical processes in biology, including embryonic development, immune response, biological oscillations and evolution itself. We have close collaborations with experimentalists, locally and internationally.
The candidate should have a strong background in maths or physics and a demonstrated expertise in computational methods e.g. machine learning, Monte Carlo simulations or computational evolution. The candidate should be willing to apply his theoretical/computational expertise on exciting and difficult biological problems.
The start date of the position should be in September 2018 or earlier.
