Biography: 

As the Associate Director, Inclusive Excellence, Ande (they/them/iel) plays a key role in guiding members of the McGill community – including researchers, senior administrators and HR professionals – on measures to build and ensure equity and inclusion in connection with the research ecosystem (research design/teams/impact) and the employment life cycle (recruitment, hiring, promotion, and retention). Ande holds master’s degrees in social work and urban planning and has worked extensively in the higher education and non-profit sectors, and as well has experience working in government and for-profits.
