Registration tips
- Use BOTH VSB and Minerva when planning your registration. Minerva is where you'll find the most accurate enrolment numbers once registration opens.
- You need to login to VSB to see instructor and classroom information
- Using the Advanced Search option in Minerva, you can search for all courses offered by a department or faculty, and also look for courses offered on specific days/times. This can be found under Step 2 of the Registration Menu.
- In the course listings in Minerva, if you click on a course's CRN and then the course title, you will get to a page where you can see if there are Faculty/program/year restrictions on that section. This may help you figure out the registration issue you're having (i.e. one section of a course is only open to U0/ U1 students and the other section is open to all years).

If you're having difficulty registering for a REQUIRED course, you can contact the department offering the course for assistance (i.e. for GEOG 302, contact the Dept. of Geography; for ECON 313, contact the Dept. of Economics, etc.):
*Please note that in most departments, registration permits are only given for required courses, not for electives or complementary courses |
