Solving Registration Issues

Environment students trying to register for required ENVR courses:

Environment students trying to register for courses in other departments:

• If you're having difficulty registering for a REQUIRED course, you can contact the department offering the course for assistance (i.e. for GEOG 302, contact the Dept. of Geography; for ECON 313, contact the Dept. of Economics, etc.)
• Refer to the lists of departmental contacts so that you're contacting the right person/unit:
  • Arts
  • Science
  • AES - Please complete the Mac Course Request Form and I will make a request to the Mac SAO on your behalf
• Please note that in most departments, registration permits are only given for required courses, not for electives or complementary courses

Non-Environment students trying to register in ENVR courses:

• If the course is REQUIRED for your program, please email christina.zhu [at] mcgill.ca (Christina Zhu) for assistance
• If the course is a complementary or elective and you're receiving a "Reserve Closed" error message, that means that all the spaces for students in other programs are currently full. You'll need to keep checking Minerva regularly and throughout the Add/Drop period to see if space opens up
