Ella Atlas, Ph.D.

Ella Atlas did her studies and postdoctoral training at Queen’s University and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories, UC Berkeley prior to her joining Health Canada as a research scientist.  Her research focuses on the effects of environmental toxicants on adipocytes and on pancreatic cells.  In addition she investigates the possible role of environmental pollutants on breast cancer initiation and progression.
