The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) was initially developed and evaluated by Dr Kumpfer and her team in the United States to serve high-risk African American families.  This evaluation marks phase II of an evaluation that: 1. Describes the implementation of this program in Montreal’s Black Anglophone communities and 2. Tracks the impact of SFP by measuring participant’s learning and behaviour changes, satisfaction and improved functioning in the areas covered by the SFP evaluation tools.  The final report that will track all phases of this evaluation will be completed by the fall of 2012.
