Stewart Biology Building (West Wing)

Start of project: May 2017

End of project: Summer 2023

Stewart Biology BuildingOne of the largest buildings on the downtown campus, the Stewart Biology Building was built in 1965 and no longer meets the standards for modern university facilities, creating numerous constraints for the researchers who work there. This project consists of a complete reconfiguration of the West Wing’s interior spaces, the construction of new state-of-the-art research and teaching laboratories, and the replacement of all mechanical and electrical installations.

This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Post-secondary Institutions Strategic Investment Fund.
