Welcome to the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology within McGill’s Faculty of Medicine, the oldest faculty at our University. The proud home of revolutionary studies in science—such as those that led to the development of Stem Cell Renewal Theory—we must nevertheless be diligent to not rest on these laurels. Rather, here in Anatomy and Cell Biology we work to push forward and continually strive to offer the most innovative teaching and research techniques to challenge our students and ourselves, so that we may contribute to the advancement of knowledge and discovery in the fields of cell biology, medicine, proteomics, genomics, bioinformatics, and dentistry.
