Record of Seminars Attendance

Students enrolled in ANAT 695, 696 and 697 must attend 12 seminars per term. These seminars can be the Anatomy and Cell Biology departmental seminars or seminars held in other McGill departments and local Institutes. Conferences (such as ASCB, Biophysics, Gordon conference, etc...) only count as one seminar.  It is the responsibility of each student to document his/her attendance by using the Seminar Attendance Form [.pdf].  Each student must write a 5 to 10 line summary of the seminar, including the date and title. The form must then be signed by a professor attending the seminar. At the end of the term, a copy of these forms should be given to Joelle Denomy-Hasilo.

As of the Winter 2014 term, students who are not enrolled in the seminar courses will no longer have to complete the attendance forms. However, all graduate students should attend seminars on a regular basis, and it is highly encouraged that students keep a personal record of their attended seminars, as Research Advisory Committees may wish to discuss them.
