Angie Lu

Angie is an Honours Anatomy & Cell Biology student and serves as Co-VP Academic alongside Aindrila. She helps recruit and coordinate NTC writers and curates academic resources to support student learning.
Passionate about research access and postgraduate opportunities, she works to help students prepare for future careers. Angie has pursued research since her first year and intends to continue in cell biology. She completed an ANAT 396 project in the Guo Lab, contributing to the design of peptide-based inhibitors targeting Vibrio cholerae, which resulted in her first publication in FEBS Letters.
Outside MACSS, she is VP Events for Friends of MSF at McGill, advocating for global health equity. In her free time, she enjoys volleyball, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, dance, travelling, rock concerts, and exploring new cafés and restaurants.
