Emotion-Related Self-Regulation: Conceptualization and Relations with Socioemotional Functioning
Dr. Eisenberg will discuss the construct of emotion-related regulation and differentiate between effortful control and aspects of control that are less voluntary (reactive control).
Dr. Jeffrey Derevensky, Professor, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology was recently honored with the 2013 Scientific Achievement Award from the U.S. National Centre for Responsible Gambling. This award was in recognition of Dr. Derevensky's contributions to the field of research on youth and adolescent gambling.
