Artists-in-Residence to join Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education is pleased to announce that two Artists-in-Residence have been appointed via the P. Lantz initiative for Excellence in Education and the Arts. As part of this five-year endowment, Maria Ezcurra will begin her appointment in May, and Jimmy Baptiste will start in September. The two are poised to support and mentor students and faculty members in their understanding of the languages of art, and the ways in which art can be integral to building knowledge across disciplines.

DISE’s Bronwen Low, Lerona Lewis receive McGill Equity and Community Building Awards

The third instalment of McGill’s annual Equity and Community Building Awards recognized doctoral student Lerona Lewis and Professor Bronwen Low of the Faculty of Education’s Department of Integrated Studies. Tuesday night’s award ceremony acknowledged outstanding contributions of McGillians towards promoting diversity and inclusivity in the local community and on campus.
