The McGill Visual Arts Collection is strongly committed to the development of students’ knowledge and professional skills. Every year, the Collection offers positions such as academic internships and fellowships, work-study employment, and summer jobs for graduates and undergraduates in the fields of art history, communications, history, and beyond. These positions, largely funded by generous donors and student associations, provide unique opportunities for students to learn about art historical research and documentation, art preservation, museum best-practices, the art market, and philanthropy in cultural organizations

Students involved with the Visual Arts Collection have gone on to achieve fulfilling and prosperous careers in the arts and culture sectors, both nationally and internationally.
