Le Département des littératures de langue française, de traduction et de création occupe une position unique à l'Université McGill, puisque tout s'y déroule en français au même titre que dans une université francophone. Situé au cœur du campus dans un cadre particulièrement enchanteur, le Département offre une formation rigoureuse et complète en littérature française comme en littérature québécoise, de même qu'en traduction et en création littéraires. L'un des attraits du Département tient à sa relative petite taille qui permet un meilleur encadrement et une étroite collaboration entre les étudiants et les professeurs.
