Engineering a clean energy policy: Dr. Kristina Johnson

TISED was honoured to host this talk by Dr. Kristina Johnson on May 28, 2014, a day before she received an honourary doctorate from McGill's Faculty of Engineering.

Dr. Kristina Johnson’s company, Enduring Hydro, has an important role in the energy sector – this seminar examined barriers and opportunities to renewable energy as well as the status and role of hydropower. Johnson’s high-level positions in government, academic, and industry have been influenced by her training as an engineer. She spoke about how engineers can contribute to influencing public policy and suggested concrete ways where we can work to create a more sustainable world.
