Curriculum Committee

Mandate:

The Curriculum Committee discusses and makes recommendations on the School’s academic programs and related policies, including any modifications to be made. These recommendations are brought to the departmental meeting for a decision. This committee will act upon any recommendations from strategic planning meetings, consults faculty members and other relevant constituencies (employers, alumni, professional associations).  The Curriculum Committee meet every month.

 

Composition:

One faculty member (Chair – term of three years appointed by the Director), three (3) faculty members: MISt Graduate Program Director, PhD Graduate Program Director, and one other faculty member; three (3) student representatives: MISt I (ex officio), MISt II, and PhD representative, each of whom will consult with the entire student body; the Liaison Librarian; a representative of our alumni and/or employers; and the Graduate Program Coordinator (Secretary ex officio).
