SIS Welcomes MISt student Liam Dearin as part of the Indigenous Student Librarian program
The School of Information Studies is happy to announce the incoming MISt student Liam Dearin as part of the Indigenous Student Librarian program. This programs offers a tuition waiver to an Indigenous student as well as part time employment as a student librarian or archivist at Concordia Library. The program is a partnership between McGill, Concordia and Univesité de Montreal.
Liam Dearin is pursuing a Master of Information Studies at McGill University, where he also completed his bachelor degree with a major in English, and a minor in Medieval, Renaissance and Reformation Studies. His has a strong interest in the alternative methods of information preservation in digital media collections.
