Mandate
The mandate of the McGill Information Studies Student Association (MISSA) is:
"To co-ordinate the activities of the students of the McGill School of Information Studies and to ensure representation of student interests in the school, in the university, and in the library and information profession."
We are here to represent your interests and help you enjoy your time as a SIS student.
Keep an eye out for your representatives around the school and feel free to approach us with questions, ideas, and any concerns you may have.
MISSA holds elections every fall and winter. When the elections come around, don't be shy. Let yourself be heard by running for a position on the council! Position descriptions may be found in the MISSA Constitution.
