SCSD Commitment to Equity Diversity and Inclusion

The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at McGill is committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion for all members of the school and to addressing systemic racism in the health professions (see also our statement on systemic racism). We affirm our values of equity, inclusiveness, respect and collaboration. We commit to reifying these values through individual and collective action, identifying and correcting inequities. We are committed to addressing equity issues related, but not limited to, color of skin, ethnicity, religion, native languages, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age or disabilities. In the profession of SLP, Indigenous, Black and other racialized persons are underrepresented; we have provided resources in this section to support applicants from these groups.
