Workspaces on main floor of McLennan-Redpath Library Complex inaccessible beginning Monday, May 27

The Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences will be holding their annual CONGRESS conference at McGill University from June 12-24. The main floor of the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex will be a major destination during this conference as it will house the registration area and other related activities.
Movers will be transferring furniture and equipment beginning Monday, May 27. Workspaces located on the main floor of McLennan and Redpath Library buildings will be inaccessible to facilitate the move.
Closed spaces in McLennan include the conversation zone, quiet pods, and e-classroom overlooking Sherbrooke Street. Work areas on the main floor of Redpath Library Building like the group study areas, Innovation Commons, and “Fishbowl” study areas will also be cordoned off.
Please note the corridors, washrooms, and lobby spaces on the main floor of the complex will remain open.
Users looking for a quiet workspace are encouraged to visit other library locations before and during CONGRESS.
Les espaces de travail au rez-de-chaussée des édifices du complexe McLennan-Redpath seront inaccessibles à compter du lundi 27 mai.
La Fédération des sciences humaines tiendra son CONGRÈS annuel à l’Université McGill du 12 au 21 juin. Le rez-de-chaussée du complexe McLennan-Redpath sera transformé lors de cet événement pour accueillir le bureau d’inscription et les autres zones d’activités du congrès.
À compter du lundi 27 mai, des déménageurs s’occuperont de déplacer les meubles et les équipements. L’accès aux espaces de travail situés au rez-de-chaussée des édifices du complexe sera donc interrompu pour faciliter leur travail.
Les espaces qui seront inaccessibles dans l’édifice McLennan comprennent les zones de conversation, les cubicules et le local informatique adjacent à la rue Sherbrooke. L’accès sera aussi interdit à certaines sections du rez-de-chaussée de la Bibliothèque Redpath comme les espaces réservés au travail en collaboration, le Carrefour d’innovation et la zone communément appelée le « Fishbowl ».
Les corridors, les toilettes et les espaces situés dans le hall d’entrée au rez-de-chaussée du complexe demeureront accessibles.
