Jeffrey McKenzie elected Fellow of the Geological Society of America

Jeffrey McKenzie, Chair of McGill's Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences, has been elected a Fellow of the Geological Society of America (GSA). In its citation, the GSA noted:

Professor Jeffrey McKenzie is a highly productive and accomplished Earth scientist and a long-time, committed member of the Geological Society of America. His diverse contributions include innovations and leadership in Arctic groundwater research, tirelessly [sic] advocacy for the Earth sciences, and training of the next generation of hydrogeologists.
