Dr. Tina Montreuil, ECP, Awarded the Prestigious FRQS Chercheur Boursier Junior 2 Award

Dr. Tina Montreuil, a researcher at the Educational and Counselling Psychology Department (Associate Member of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences), has been awarded the prestigious FRQS Chercheur Boursier Junior 2 award this past April 2025.
This highly competitive funding opportunity recognizes Dr. Montreuil's program of research that aims to support parental mental health during pregnancy and improve access and pathways of care using an innovative screening and referral protocol. Selected through a rigorous peer-review process, the award supports mid-career scientists who demonstrate excellence and leadership in population health sciences.
Using a 2-generation framework, Dr. Montreuil’s established research program seeks to improve child outcomes by addressing parental mental health early and effectively.
