The Rare Neurodevelopmental Disorders Laboratory has ongoing recruitment of individuals with neurological disorders, under approval of the Research Ethics Board of McGill University.
INVESTICATE study: We recruit patients and their families, where one or more individuals has a neurodevelopmental disorder, such as autism or intellectual disability. We request DNA samples, urine samples, skin, or blood samples for this project, where the aim is to map genetic mutations and understand what these mutations do by turning cells in urine, blood, or skin into brain cells.
