All Department of Physics teaching assistants (TAs) are invited to attend this training. Co-developed with input from TAs, the McGill Graduate Association of Physics Students (MGAPS), and faculty over the last few years, this training is an important part of your preparation to TA. It is a great opportunity not only to better prepare for the term, but also foster connections with other graduate students from across your discipline. Arrive when pizza is warmest at 6:00 pm for dinner on us!

Additional Event Information:

• The training will be held in the Rutherford Physics Building Auditorium (room 112), located on the first floor at 3600 rue University. The Rutherford Physics Buildings is accessible by ramp on the west (campus-facing) side, opposite of University Street. All levels are accessible via elevator and lighting in the building is fluorescent (McGill Campus Map).

• There are accessible washrooms on the second floor and a gender-inclusive washroom in the basement (room 002B). 
• Pizza and non-alcoholic drinks will be served. (All are invited to bring their own water bottle.) The space will not be scent-free. Please share any dietary restrictions or allergies by filling out the registration form.
