Assistant Professor or Associate Professor - Canada Research Chair Tier 2 in Nutritional Pathobiology

The School of Human Nutrition of McGill University’s Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Nutritional Pathobiology. High priority research areas include the pathobiology of nutrition-related diseases throughout the lifespan, nutritional biochemistry of health and disease, epigenetic inheritance of disease susceptibility through generations, and damage to commensal microbiota. The ideal research approach will encompass basic discovery and translational research in the identification of targets and development of novel nutrition-based interventions.

Professeur adjoint ou agrégé - Chaire de recherche du Canada de niveau 2 en pathobiologie nutritionnelle

L’École de nutrition humaine de la Faculté des sciences de l’agriculture et de l’environnement de l’Université McGill sollicite les candidatures en vue de pourvoir un poste de professeur adjoint ou agrégé de pathobiologie nutritionnelle. Parmi les domaines de recherche prioritaires, on compte la pathobiologie des maladies liées à la nutrition à tous les âges, la biochimie nutritionnelle chez un sujet sain ou malade, l’hérédité épigénétique de la susceptibilité aux maladies au fil des générations et la détérioration du microbiote commensal. La méthode de recherche idéale combinera la recherche fondamentale et la recherche translationnelle pour l’établissement de cibles et d’interventions novatrices en matière de nutrition.

Canada Research Chair Tier 2 in Indigenous Peoples' Nutrition and Food for eligible candidate

  • Open to rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applications are encouraged from community-engaged public health nutritionists with expertise in social aspects of Indigenous peoples' nutrition and food in Canada, who hold a Ph.D. degree in nutrition, public health or a related health discipline.
