Since 2017, the Lister Family Engaged Science Initiative has supported the Lister Family Engaged Science Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. 

Macdonald Campus graduate student competitors present their research in 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience with one non-animated slide (Competition Rules). Thanks to the generous support of the Lister Family Engaged Science Initiative the following prizes will be offered at our 2024 competition: First place - $900; Second place - $600; Third place - $350; People’s Choice Award - $300.

Order of Proceedings

4:00 PM - Welcome and Introductions
4:10 PM - 3MT Presentations
5:00 PM - Judges Retire to Deliberate / Q&A with Contestants
5:15 PM - Announcement of the Winners
5:30 PM - Thanks & End of the Event

Centennial Centre Ballroom (2nd floor) or join the livestream!    

Parking

There is a parking lot located next to the Centennial Centre. No parking permit is required after 16h00 on the McGill Macdonald Campus.
