IT Services is preparing for a required upgrade to Banner INB and Minerva, the University's administrative system for student records and finance. Upgrading our systems on a regular basis is a fundamental activity that McGill University does to ensure we get the most functionality and security out of our tools and systems.
The downtime for the upgrade is scheduled to start on Saturday, February 14, 8:00 AM and end on Sunday, February 15, 23:59 PM.

Yet surveys show recruiters are open to negotiation, and it is rare for employers to withdraw an offer because a candidate attempted to negotiate. “A common mistake is to negotiate on salary alone or to present multiple terms as non-negotiable conditions for acceptance,” says Jean-Nicolas Reyt, an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour at McGill Desautels.
