What is LinkedIn Learning?

LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform that helps you discover and develop business, technology-related, and creative skills through expert-led course videos. With more than 16,000 courses and personalized recommendations, you can discover, complete, and track courses related to your field and interests.

This pilot will allow McGill staff to:

· Access more than 16,000 courses in seven different languages

· Access online courses at any time from various devices

· Stay up-to-date with new courses released every week

· Follow robust learning paths and thousands of bite-sized videos for learning in the moment

· Apply new skills with practice tools

Do you want to participate in a directed conversation with other McGill colleagues about a LinkedIn Learning topic?

Sign up for a LinkedIn Learning Course Club. It’s simple. The session has 2 components:

1. Individual work/reflection – prior to the session, you will view a selected video (approximately 45 – 60 minutes). You will find the link to the course in the session descriptions.

2. Facilitated virtual group discussion – on the session date we will come together virtually for a 90-minute facilitated group discussion around what we learned.
