Meet MORSL at Fall 2025 Orientation Events
Welcome to McGill! McGill Office of Religious and Spiritual Life serves students of all backgrounds and belief systems seeking personal growth, inner wellness, interfaith community and learning, and spiritual support. All of our resources and activities, including our workshops, events, publications, lounge and meditation space are free of charge and open to all McGill students who pay student services fees.
MORSL will be present to meet you and answer any questions you have about what we have to offer and religious and spiritual life on and off campus at the following orientation events
Tuesday, August 19, 2025 14:00 to 15:00: Cultivating the Spirit in Grad School: A Panel by and for Graduate Students on Religious and Spiritual Life at McGill In many universities, a narrative often prevails that paints religious and spiritual life as incompatible with academia. Yet for many students, their personal faith, religious communities and spiritual practices are important resources for their success and well-being. Join us in conversation with a panel of graduate students as they share their successes, challenges and aspirations for balancing the spiritual and the intellectual at McGill.
Wednesday, August 20, 2025 14:30 to 16:30: Meet MORSL at McGill Go! Graduate Orientation Come meet MORSL's staff and learn about our services, volunteer opportunities, events, and programs at graduate orientation! MORSL is a great place to connect, volunteer, and grow during graduate school!
Friday, August 22, 2025 10:00 to 16:00: Meet MORSL at Parents Welcome Weekend (Friday) Come meet MORSL's student staff and members of our multi-faith network while we table in the Brown Building as part of Parents Welcome Weekend. Learn about our variety of services and programs, and religious and spiritual support and community on and around campus. We look forward to greeting your families and welcoming your students!
Saturday, August 23, 2025 10:00 to 16:00: Meet MORSL at Parents Welcome Weekend (Saturday) Come meet MORSL's student staff and members of our multi-faith network while we table outside on McTavish street (near the Brown building) as part of Parents Welcome Weekend. Learn about our variety of services and programs, and religious and spiritual support and community on and around campus. We look forward to greeting your families and welcoming your students!
Monday, August 25, 2025 11:30 to 15:30: Meet MORSL at Discover McGill Service Fair (Undergraduates) Come meet MORSL's staff and learn about our services, volunteer opportunities, events, and programs! The Discover McGill Service Fair at Mac is your chance to learn about McGill's services, clubs, teams, organizations, and faculty associations all in one place.
Tuesday, August 26, 2025 11:00 to 13:00: Meet MORSL at Mac Campus Orientation (All new students) Come meet MORSL's staff and learn about our services, volunteer opportunities, events, and programs! We'll have a table at the services fair where you can learn about our upcoming activities, workshops, and all we have to offer.
Wednesday, August 27, 2025 17:00 to 19:00: Meet MORSL at the ISS Welcome Reception Come meet MORSL's staff and learn about our services, volunteer opportunities, events, and programs that can help you meet new people and make friends on campus at the International Student Services Welcome Reception!

Interfaith dialogue, conversation partners, My Neighbour's Faith visits, Radix magazine, gardening--we have a lot to offer!

Thursday, September 11, 2025 18:45 to 20:00: Meet MORSL at Queer Orientation Come learn about queer faith resources and what MORSL has to offer at Queer Orientation. You'll also meet other incoming students, learn more about queer resources on and off-campus, participate in a variety of fun activities. Thanks to CLE and Queer McGill there will also be free food!
